Situation

Tribune Publishing needed a corporate and investor relations website for introduction as a publicly traded company (TPUB). The site had to carry brand history and niche publications without using a generic template.

Constraint

Timing was the IPO. Coordination ran through a national team. History and compliance both had a vote.

Decision

I led design and development on the WordPress corporate site, owning the critical path to launch.

Outcome

The site shipped in time to support the public introduction.

What I would do again

Utilize a simple stack including a CMS for non-technical corporate users.

What I would change

I would have written the IR content model (filings, leadership, brands) as a spec.
